About Me

My background

Hiiii! I'm Kayla!  A mom of two boys, wife, and an Identity Mapping & Transformation coach who believes you don't need to become someone new to feel good in your body and your life.

If you're a mom navigating motherhood, midlife, or perimenopause, it's my mission to help you learn how to reclaim yourself, gain confidence in your body, and stop the yo-yo dieting so you can finally start to trust yourself.

Because somewhere between building careers, raising kids, taking care of everyone else, and trying to keep our shit together, it's really easy to become everyone's everything and feel like you're losing yourself in motherhood.

Maybe you're a mom who's realizing you want to be more than "Mom".

Maybe your kids are getting older and you're wondering who you are outside of motherhood.

Maybe you're in that weird middle ground where your body is changing, your priorities are changing, and you're thinking,

"What the hell happened to me?"

Or maybe you simply look in the mirror and think:

"I just want to feel like myself again."

That's where I come in.

Through identity mapping & future self coaching, I help you close the identity gap between who you are today and the woman you want to be - without another diet, another set of rules, or another attempt to completely reinvent themselves.

Because if we're being honest, you're already HER.  I'm here to help you let her the fuck out.

How I got started

Before becoming an Identity Mapping & Transformation coach,

I was a mom who felt lost in motherhood.

As a little girl, I was told I was "too much" when I was being myself, so I learned to quiet the wild, outspoken, carefree part of me.

And when I became a mom, I buried her even deeper.

I became really, really good at showing up for everyone else (sending solidarity to my fellow eldest daughters reading this).

When I left my career to become a stay-at-home mom, I thought I'd love slowing down.

Instead, I woke up one day and looked in the mirror and thought "I don't recognize myself anymore."

I loved my family.

But I was running on empty.

And I remember thinking:

I just need something for me.

So I set a goal.

Not a weight-loss goal.

A me goal.

I started running, joined a local bootcamp for moms, and somewhere between the burpees and the sweat, I started to feel alive again.

That one decision snowballed into losing 30 pounds, becoming a group fitness instructor, then a personal trainer, and eventually building a career coaching women.

But here's the part I didn't understand at first:

Changing my body wasn't the same thing as changing how I felt about myself.

I had the body.

I had the habits.

I had the career.

And I still wasn't fully allowing myself to be her.

I was still playing peacekeeper.

Still holding back.

Still swallowing what I actually wanted to say.

Still making myself smaller so other people could be comfortable.

I thought I was becoming the woman I wanted to be.

But I was still abandoning parts of myself to do it.

And that realization changed everything.

Because the women I was coaching were experiencing the same thing.

They'd tried the macros.

The workout programs.

The challenges.

The diets.

They knew what to do.

But they'd keep ending up right back where they started.

The problem wasn't that they needed more discipline.

They were trying to change their behavior without changing the way they saw themselves.

They were stuck in the identity gap.

And that's when my coaching evolved.

My approach

I don't believe your health journey should require you to hate your body into submission.

I definitely don't believe the answer is another fucking diet.

My approach starts with you.

Not your macros, your meal plan, or your measurements.

Before we ask, "What should I eat?" or "What workout should I do?", we ask:

Who do you want to be living your life as?

What does she believe?

How does she make decisions?

What does she no longer tolerate?

How does she take care of herself when life gets messy?

What does it look like to embrace the fact that you're already her instead of constantly waiting until you've lost the weight, fixed your habits, or finally "got your shit together"?

That's the work.

Because your body follows the woman.

Through identity mapping, I help you close the gap between the woman you are today and the woman you want to be. Only  then will creating the habits that make living as her feel natural.

That means learning how to:

  • Stop the yo-yo dieting and the endless start-over cycle.
  • Build self-trust instead of relying on rules to tell you what you "should" do.
  • Feel confident in your body without obsessing over every crumb.
  • Create healthy habits that actually fit your real life.
  • Navigate motherhood, midlife, and perimenopause without losing yourself in the process.
  • Reclaim yourself as a woman - not just as a mom, wife, caretaker, or employee.
  • Become more than mom without loving your family any less.
  • Finally feel like yourself again.

I have no interest in helping you become a woman that can follow a plan perfectly for six weeks.

My desire & goal is to help you become the woman who trusts herself when there is no plan.

The woman who can eat the burger and move on.

The woman who can miss a workout without deciding she's "off track."

The woman who can say no without explaining herself.

The woman who takes up space.

The woman who listens to her intuition.

The woman who doesn't need to start over every Monday because she never actually left herself behind.

That's the glow up.

You don't need to become someone new.

You need to remember who the fuck you are.
